Must See Movie: How to Boil a Frog

I’ve not laughed so hard in a long time; this movie is so fricken funny! Too bad the topic, the top 5 things that trouble humanity, is so depressing. But then again that’s what makes this movie so refreshing and effective. It tackles our biggest challenges with humor and provides tangible solutions we can start doing right away.

While one of those solutions mentioned in the movie isn’t moving into tiny houses, it is, indirectly. So while a quick plug for the movie How to Boil a Frog isn’t directly related to tiny house design it’s will be a perfect fit for many folks considering extreme downsizing.

I couldn’t find a place to watch the movie online (sob) so I broke down and bought the movie. I’m very happy I did and plan to force everyone I know to watch. If you can get your hands on a copy of this movie I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Update: If you’re wondering about the odd movie title, it’s a metaphor for the current situation we humans find ourselves. It goes like this… if you drop a ‘frog’ into boiling water it would panic and try to escape. If you drop a ‘frog’ into cool water and then slowly increase the temperature it will not try to escape, and die. This may explain why people hardly notice a thing as pollution (etc) continues to slowly increase – and why frogs like me often sound a little nutty 😉
