Here’s a simple SketchUp drawing of the popular Dickenson Marine propane heater. These are great little heaters for tiny spaces. They’re made for boats but perfect for tiny houses too. Shown in the drawing is the vent which usually exits out a side wall or through the roof. The height of the vent can be altered for your design.
When laying out a design its nice to be able to place built-in objects like heaters and fireplaces because they can become the focus of a room – and often have placement requirements. For installation details be sure to check the manufacture’s website.

Nice one! Thanks Jim!
hi there:
am worried about drainage and seweage – how to dispose off, without street drain?
thanks.
paul.
Complicated topic because there are so many choices – but they depend on location, local laws/codes, and how much you want to DIY the waste disposal.
First lets assume one is not connected to RV hookups or a city sewer. Then split the problem in two, grey water (sinks, drains) and sewage (human waste).
Grey water is easier to be reclaimed and should ideally be done through a system (often plants, gravel, sand, etc) that filter and purify the water before its reused in the garden.
Human waste if not mixed with water or urine (like in a lovable loo or composting toilet) is easier to dispose of. If you’re in a rural area and there are no laws stopping you, you may choose to compost it in a separate compost pile. Or if you have a commercial composting toilet it may just come out as compost ready to be put on ornamental plants. If you’re in the city look into bagging it up and placing it in the normal trash pickup. In many places this is legal to do – just like dirty diapers.
This is not a complete list of options – or legal advice – but I hope it points you to some options.
