TIPS TO GET TO EUREKA
Eureka is right on Old Coast Highway-Highway 101. This is a bucket-list trip for many, especially with a smaller RV. It is not advisable to access Eureka with a large RV via CA-299, as it is curvy and mountainous. Many travelers with a longer RV (35+ ft) stated that both the 299 and the 101 are narrow and curvy and one can only travel a max speed of 45 mph safely.
