Tiny Transformer Apartment in Hong Kong

Architect Gary Chang created this tiny apartment in Hong Kong that literally transforms into many different usable spaces. The total square footage is only 344 square feet but he’s increased the usable space by adding tall moving wall cabinets that change the function of the room depending on which side is exposed. I want to thank my readers Tom and Lloyd for sending me links to this video recently.

If I lived in one of the most populated cities in the world, I would want one more thing: a totally empty room to stay in.

Well, MacKenzie, that could be built in too. All it would require is for all compartments and crannies be covered, or maybe one of the sliding panels could be split in half. Truthfully though, a bare room looks smaller than a thoughtfully furnished one.
