Chris, one of my readers, sent me these photos of a backyard tool shed his dad, Hans, built and then decided to transform into a tiny house. It’s not plumbed but it is wired and insulated. Even so but I think you’ll agree this tiny house would be a very nice little place to spend some time.
I really like the clerestory and asymmetrical roof. It’s hard to tell if the little windows up there are operable but I bet they would really help cool the space off fast especially if a lower window on a cool wall were opened a little too.
I also really like that the exterior space around the house wasn’t forgotten. The deck right outside the front door doubles the usable living space during good weather. Kudos to Hans! Thanks for sharing your Dad’s tiny house with us Chris!
Is that a ceiling of woodwool cement boards under the roof?
Hi Stanley, that’s correct, the ceiling is woodwool cement boards.
Thank you, Chris. And well done!

I love the asymmetrical roof and the windows at the top, too. A very attractive house.
