Public voting for Shed of the Year has begun. This annual competition is hosted by the folks at Readersheds.co.uk and occurs in conjunction with Shed Week. Over 1,500 sheds from around the world have been entered this year – so there’s lots of tiny shed/house designs to browse.
Pictured here is a hobbit inspired shed built by Jim in New York. Jim has posted the plans and construction photos on his website and you can vote for his shed here.
Visit Readersheds.co.uk to see the sheds and vote for your favorite sheds.

What about shed of the year 2012? I bought a shed from http://www.buyshedsdirect.co.uk/ which I was really pleased with it – can any shed be entered or does it need to have an original design to stand a chance?
I really liked the shed I got from http://www.shedsdirect.co.uk but I doubt it will win shed of the year lol
